Uchiyama Shōta (born January 9, 1977) is a Japanese poet known for his work in tanka poetry. He hails from Yachiyo, Chiba Prefecture, Japan. He is affiliated with the poetry organization 'Tanka-jin'. His wife, Ōhiwa Chika, is also a poet and has received the prestigious 28th Kadansha Prize for poetry.
