Udai Al-Sultani is an Iraqi popular poet born in 1962 in Al-Shumaily, Babel Governorate. He participated in the 1993 Young Poets Festival and won the festival's first prize. In 1998, he took part in the first emotional festival organized by the Ministry of Culture and Media. Al-Sultani was also part of a team led by poet Muzaffar Al-Nawab in a poetry competition on Al-Sumaria TV, where they secured first place. Furthermore, he served as the editor-in-chief of Al-Jana'in magazine.
