He previously held the positions of Interim CEO and Managing Director of MSEI from October 2015 to February 2016. Kumar has also been the managing director of Metropolitan Clearing Corporation of India Ltd (MCCIL) and serves as a director of MSEI. Under his leadership, MSEI has emerged as one of India's recognized stock exchanges.
