Uday Narayan Choudhary is an Indian politician known for being a prominent Dalit leader in the Janata Dal (United) party. He served as the Speaker of the Bihar Legislative Assembly from 2005 to 2015. Choudhary represented the Imamganj Vidhan Sabha Constituency between 1990-1995 and 2000-2015. After losing the 2015 election, he joined the Rashtriya Janata Dal in 2019, opposing the JD(U)'s alliance with the BJP. He has been a vocal critic of political decisions made by JD(U) leader Nitish Kumar.
