Ulla Ekblad-Forsgren, born April 17, 1937, is a Swedish translator living in Lund. She translates from German and is best known for her work with the poet Friederike Mayröcker. In 2011, her translation of Mayröcker's poetry book Scardanelli was a finalist for the Årets översättning award. Ekblad-Forsgren has an academic background in German studies and translation, debuting in 2000 with Marcel Beyer's Flyghundar. She is also recognized for promoting Mayröcker's works and is involved in events commemorating her 100th anniversary.
