Ulla Ekholm (born Eyvor Ulla Christina Lindfors) was a Finnish author who wrote young adult literature in Swedish. Born on June 15, 1924, in Kauniainen, she wrote under the pen name Ulla Ekholm. Her parents were Oskar Berndt Ekholm, a gardener, and Helfrid Margareta Bäckström. She was married to Kaj Ejnar Lindfors from 1944 until his death in 2000. Ulla Ekholm completed five years of compulsory school education and worked as an accountant at K.E. Lindfors and Clavis osakeyhtiö before dedicating herself to writing.
