Ülle Podekrat was an Estonian promoter of folk culture and music educator. Starting in 1982, she worked as a music teacher at the Mesimumm kindergarten in Põlva. She was the initiator and chief organizer of folklore events in Southern Estonia and the nationwide kindergarten festival 'Kes aias?'. In 1988, she founded the folklore group Käokirjas. She was also the concept creator and chief organizer of the Moisekatsi Elohelü folk music arrangements festival in Estonia.
