Urho Sven Valdemar Jokinen (1924-1996) was a Finnish journalist and communist theorist. He served as the editor of Tiedonantaja from 1970 to 1984 and was also the editor of Uuden Päivä during two periods: 1960-1962 and 1964-1965. Jokinen was a member of the political committee of the Finnish Communist Party and, during the 1970s and 1980s, he became a leading ideologist of the 'Taistoist' opposition within the party.
