Ursula Bedners, born Ursula Markus on May 14, 1920, was a Romanian poet, prose writer, and translator of German ethnicity. She was the daughter of doctor Fritz Markus and became a member of the Romanian Writers' Union in 1978. Her work includes articles published in 'Kunst und Kultur' and 'Neue Literatur.' In 1985, she won the second prize from the publication Karpatenrundschau. Some of her poems were translated into Romanian, with a foreword by Ana Blandiana.
