Ursula Klinger (1948-2006) was a notable German diver and national coach specializing in platform diving. She served as the chief coach for the German Swimming Federation from 1991 and was involved in multiple Olympic events. Her contributions were recognized in 1999 when she was appointed to the board of national coaches. After leaving DSV in 2004, she continued to contribute to diving. Klinger received the Federal Cross of Merit in 2000 and was remembered for her efforts in youth development in diving. She passed away from cancer in 2006.
