Vaghinak Voskanyan was an Armenian Soviet animal husbandry expert and academician who made significant contributions to the field. He was born on November 13, 1913, in Arajadzor, Armenia, and passed away on November 5, 1997, in Yerevan, Armenia. Voskanyan became a Doctor of Agricultural Sciences in 1962, appointed as a professor the same year, and was recognized as an Honored Worker of Science of the Armenian SSR in 1974.
