Vagn Henning Hansen, often referred to as Henning Hansen, was a Danish composer born in Præstø on December 31, 1914. He passed away on January 14, 1994, in Odder. He was known for composing music for several well-known children's songs based on the texts of Halfdan Rasmussen, such as "Mariehønen Evigglad" and "Den lille frække Frederik." Growing up in a musically rich family, he played the piano and guitar. Hansen also worked as a teacher at Egmont Højskolen.
