Vagn Therkel Pedersen, born on June 6, 1945, is a Danish politician who served as the mayor of Tønder Municipality, elected for the Venstre party. He trained as an auditor in 1974 and worked at KPMG C. Jespersen, later becoming a director at Gutenberghus and Hafnia Forsikring before becoming CEO of Ecco A/S from 1992 to 1996. He was the mayor of Bredebro Municipality from 2002 to 2007, and after its merger with Tønder Municipality, he became the first mayor of the new municipality until his resignation in July 2009.
