He was appointed Deputy for Youth Affairs in the Ministry of Sports and Youth in October 2021 and Secretary of the High Council of Youth in June 2022. A graduate in criminal law and criminology, Yaminpour began his career in 2002 with Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting. He has hosted political programs and published novels, winning the Revolutionary Art Face of the Year award in 2020 for his best-selling works.
