Väinö Rouvinen (b. 1932) is a Finnish art engraver, known for his small-scale works often featuring landscapes or surreal views. Born in North Karelia, he studied at the Finnish Academy of Fine Arts and experimented with informalism before moving to surrealism. As a founding member of the Tutka group and participant in the Bronda attic artist group, Rouvinen has also been featured on television. He has lived in Varkaus since 1964 and had a long marriage with painter Meeri Torvinen, with whom he has three children, including fellow engraver Maria Rouvinen-Mäkelä.
