He is a three-time Bulgarian champion in slalom and has also served as a coach and sports official. Born on January 15, 1961, in Gabrovo, he began skiing at the age of 7 and had notable performance in national championships. After his sports career, he became involved in coaching and sports administration and contributed to the organization of several ski competitions, including the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi.
