He served as a senior sergeant and grenade launcher in the 1st grenade launcher division of the 96th mechanized battalion of the 60th separate infantry brigade. Shermirzaiev passed away on April 23, 2022, in Mykolaivka, Kherson Oblast, Ukraine, during a military operation.
