Valentyna Hryhorivna Poleva, born on January 20, 1938, in Novotroitske, Ukraine, is a Ukrainian journalist, publicist, and editor. She has been a member of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine since 1965 and was honored as a deserving journalist of the Ukrainian SSR in 1988. Poleva won the creative competition 'Golden Pen' in 1971 in Kyiv and served as a deputy in the Ternopil Regional Council in 1985.
