Valerie Koortzen is a former professional tennis player from South Africa, born on February 15, 1937. Active during the 1950s and 1960s, she reached the singles third round at Wimbledon twice and was a women's doubles quarter-finalist at both Wimbledon and the French Championships. In 1957, she won a singles title in Düsseldorf, defeating Pat Ward in the final. Koortzen was married to fellow tennis player Gordon Forbes from 1956 until 1971.
