He earned the degree of Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences in 2001 and held the title of professor from 2006 to 2007. Since 2009, he has been the head of the Department of Nanophysics of Condensed Media at the Institute of High Technologies at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
