Valeriy Pavlovich Mikhnov is a Soviet football player and coach, born on September 9, 1950. He spent his entire playing career with 'Selenga'/'Lokomotiv' Ulan-Ude from 1972 to 1982 and again from 1987 to 1990. Mikhnov has worked various coaching roles with the team, including as head coach from 1995 to 2000 and in the 2013/14 season. He also coached amateur teams, taking charge of 'Initiative' Ulan-Ude in 1991 and leading 'Veterans' Ulan-Ude in 2007.
