Valero Rivera López, born on February 14, 1953, in Zaragoza, is a prominent Aragonese handball player and coach. He is the most decorated coach in the history of Spanish handball, having spent his entire sporting career at FC Barcelona, both as a player and coach. He has won numerous championships, including 12 ASOBAL Leagues and multiple European titles. From 2008 to 2015, he coached the Spanish national team, earning a bronze medal in the 2011 World Championships and a gold medal in 2015. Since 2015, he has been the coach of Qatar's handball team.
