Valery Dmitrievich Kaminsky (born September 10, 1947) is a Soviet and Russian geophysicist specializing in geology and geophysics of the continental shelf and the World Ocean. He has been the director of the VNIIOkeangeologiya since 2002 and was elected as a member of the Russian Academy of Sciences in 2022.
