Valgerður Bjarnadóttir is an Icelandic politician from the Alliance party, born on January 13, 1950. She served as a Member of the Althing from 2009 to 2016, representing the Reykjavík-North constituency. During her time in parliament, she participated in various committees, most recently the Committee on Economic Affairs and Trade. She has also been part of the Icelandic delegation to the Arctic Parliamentary Conference since 2013. In the 2016 elections, she stood for the South Reykjavík constituency but her party did not win any seats.
