Vappu Liipola (1917–1995) was a Finnish children’s author, known for her contributions to children's literature. She studied at the Vapaa taidekoulun from 1936 to 1941 and worked as an art teacher, tax official, and freelance writer. Liipola wrote three fairy tale books and three collections of short stories, and she also illustrated her works.
