Vasileia "Vaso" Mavrelou, born on February 23, 1985, is a retired Greek water polo player who was a member of the Greek national team. She won a gold medal at the 2005 Women's World Water Polo Championship in Kirishi and a bronze at the 2010 World Championship in San Diego. She competed in the 2006 European Water Polo Championship, finishing 6th. At the club level, she played 11 years for Olympiacos (2002-2013), winning 2 Greek Championships and several European distinctions. In the 2015-16 season, she played for N.O. Rethymnou.
