Vasiliy Mikhailovich Dulskiy was a prominent Russian horn player, military conductor, teacher, and composer, born on December 28, 1918, in Luhansk. He was associated with several symphony orchestras in Moscow and conducted leading military orchestras in the USSR. Dulskiy was also an educator at the Moscow Conservatory and composed works for wind orchestras. In recognition of his artistic contributions, he was honored with the title of Honored Artist of the RSFSR in 1969. He passed away on February 2, 1993.
