Vasyl Yevhenovych Marmazov is a Ukrainian state official, lawyer, and diplomat, born on January 20, 1962, in Donetsk. He served as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to South Korea from 2011 to 2017. Marmazov is a distinguished lawyer of Ukraine (2007) and earned a Ph.D. in Law in 1995 with a dissertation on local government in the UK. He is a professor of international law and comparative jurisprudence at the Kiev University of Law and an arbitrator at the ICC of the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce.
