He served as the senior bishop of the Union of Free Churches of Evangelical Faith in Ukraine and was the head of the All-Ukrainian Council of Churches starting January 1, 2020. He was awarded the Order of Prince Yaroslav the Wise, 5th class, for his contributions to the church and society. Raichynets passed away on July 4, 2020, in Svalyava.
