Vasyl Vasilyevich Shepa (1931-2011) was a Soviet and Ukrainian scientist in the field of economics and management of agricultural production. He was a corresponding member of the VASKHNIIL (1978) and an academician of the UAA. Shepa was born in the Berehove district of Zakarpattia, graduated from Lviv Agricultural Institute, and worked as an accountant, agronomist, and kolkhoz chairman. He published significant research on labor motivation systems and grape production efficiency in Ukraine and served as an advisor to the Ukrainian President on agricultural policy.
