Veikko Olavi Auersalmi was a Finnish pesäpallo player, born on March 18, 1924, in Helsinki. He played for the Työväen Mailapoikien team in the SM series from 1940 to 1954, winning the TUL championship six times during that period. He also served as the third baseman for the TUL team in the demonstration match of pesäpallo at the 1952 Helsinki Olympics. His son, Vesa Auersalmi, also achieved success by winning medals in field hockey.
