Veikko Niemikorpi, born on October 20, 1948, is a former Finnish bandy player. He was named Finland's best bandy player in 1978 and ranked among the top three Finnish bandy players of all time by Urheilulehti in 2008. Niemikorpi played for Oulun Palloseura, Oulun Luistinseura, and HIFK, becoming the all-time leading scorer in SM series with 692 goals. He won several scoring titles, participated in 106 national matches, and was the first Finn to exceed 100 A-national matches.
