Veljko Jefta Aleksić was a Yugoslav partisan who participated in the National Liberation Struggle during World War II. He was born on April 15, 1913, in Podvrš near Nikšić, and he became known as a national hero for his contributions to the fight against fascism. Aleksić was recognized posthumously for his bravery and sacrifice in the struggle for liberation. He died on June 3, 1943, in Tjentište during the course of the conflict.
