Belogrlić was born on April 11, 1926, in Kruševac and graduated from the Academy of Theatre, Film and Radio in Belgrade. In addition to her directing career, she was involved with various cultural organizations, contributing significantly to children's entertainment until her passing in Belgrade on June 8, 2015.
