Vera Hingorani (December 23, 1924 - April 23, 2018) was an Indian gynecologist, obstetrician, and medical writer. She served as a professor and head of the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences. Hingorani was an honorary gynecologist and obstetrician for Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and President Pratibha Patil of India. In 1984, she was awarded the Padma Shri, the fourth highest Indian civilian award, by the Government of India.
