Very Idham Henyansyah, also known as Ryan, is an Indonesian serial killer convicted for the murders of 11 people. His gruesome acts, including the brutal killing of a mother and child, gained notoriety across Indonesia. Arrested in 2008, he was sentenced to death and is currently awaiting execution at Kesambi Penitentiary. Henyansyah, a former Qur'an recital teacher and male model, is openly homosexual and claims that most of his victims were also homosexual men. He has published an autobiography and has gained media attention for his behavior in prison.
