Vesmina Shikova is a Bulgarian chess player and International Master since 1971. She trained under Alexander Tsvetkov at the CSKA Sofia chess school. She won the national championship for girls in 1969 and became the Bulgarian women's champion in 1972. Additionally, she earned a silver medal in the national championships in 1978 and nine bronze medals between 1968 and 1985. Shikova also participated in two Chess Olympiads in 1972 and 1978, achieving a notable fourth place finish in 1972 with her team.
