Vicenç Corominas i Pi (1926-2024) was a teacher and composer of sardanas from Mollet del Vallès. He owned a sausage business and later a musical instrument shop. Corominas studied music theory and was known for his saxophone solos. He directed choirs, including Coral el Clavell, and composed over 100 sardanas upon retirement. One of his notable works was the music for 'Himne a Mollet', the official anthem of the city, approved in 1994. His last sardana, dedicated to the mayor Mireia Dionisio, premiered shortly before his passing.
