Vicent Miquel i Diego was a Valencian lawyer and politician born on December 2, 1939, in La Nucia. He was involved in the founding of the Unió Democràtica del País Valencià and served as Secretary of Acts of the Valencian Council. He promoted the incorporation of Valencian into liturgy and contributed to various cultural publications. Miquel held secretarial positions in several municipalities and became the Secretary General of Valencia City Council in 1991, retiring in 2009. He was also an associate professor of Administrative Law at the University of Valencia.
