He later worked for the sports newspaper Marca and Radio València, and directed Radio Mediterráneo. Coello co-founded the magazine Triunfo in Madrid and wrote 67 screenplays for various films. Notable movies include Pequeñeces and Vente a Alemania, Pepe. He collaborated frequently with Vicente Escrivá and wrote for many films starring Paco Martínez Soria. He passed away on December 27, 2006, in Madrid.
