Vicki Draves, born Victoria Manalo on December 31, 1924, was a Filipino-American diver who made history at the 1948 Summer Olympics in London by winning gold medals in both the 10-meter platform and 3-meter springboard events. She became the first woman to achieve gold in both diving categories and was also the first American woman to win two Olympic gold medals in diving. Additionally, Draves was the first Asian American to win Olympic gold medals, showcasing her exceptional talent in the sport before her passing on April 11, 2010.
