Víctor Yturbe, known as El Piruli, was a Mexican singer born on May 8, 1926, in Mexico City. His career began in the early 1960s as a clown in a waterski show at the Posada Vallarta Hotel in Acapulco, where he acquired his nickname. He started his singing career in the hotel's nightclub, releasing his first album in 1964 titled 'Noches en la Posada Vallarta.' Yturbe gained fame with the song 'Confidencias de amor' and participated in several OTI music festivals, recording over a dozen albums, mostly in collaboration with Chamín Correa. He was tragically murdered on November 28, 1987.
