Vida Krošelj was a Slovenian commercial assistant and partisan, born on April 22, 1924, in Cerknica, and died on November 12, 1942, in Tolminski Lom. She attended primary school in her hometown and secondary schooling in Maribor, where she completed a one-year trade school. From 1940 until joining the partisans on July 2, 1942, she worked in her family's store. She fought with the Soška detachment and was recognized as the first female partisan to fall in the Primorska region. Her legacy is honored with a monument.
