Vidar Johnsen, born in 1972, is a Norwegian musician best known as the vocalist and guitarist for the music group Vamp. He debuted at a major venue at the age of twelve and won a talent competition in 1986, which led to a record contract. His single 'Vår eneste jord' reached second place on the national radio chart. Johnsen has released solo albums and collaborated with Swedish musician Peter Nordberg. His 2012 album 'Galskapens Land' received critical acclaim, and his work with Vamp includes two albums that reached the top of the Norwegian charts.
