Viet Phuong, also known as Tran Viet Phuong, was a renowned modern Vietnamese poet who lived from 1928 to 2017. His poetry collection 'Cua Mo', published in 1970, was seen as a literary and social phenomenon, selling over 5,300 copies within two weeks of its release. He served as a longtime personal secretary to Prime Minister Pham Van Dong for 53 years and also worked for General Secretary Le Duan. The collection was awarded a State Prize in Literature and Arts in 2023.
