Nils Viggo Edén was a Swedish mathematician, musician (pianist, harpsichordist, conductor), and composer. Born on May 17, 1936, he contributed significantly to both music and mathematics. As a mathematician, he authored several textbooks. His music career flourished in Höör, where he served as a music leader from 1980 to 2001. Notably, he recorded Carl Nielsen's piano works in 1978 and made numerous contributions to Sveriges Radio P2. Edén passed away on February 9, 2015.
