She completed her education at Tallinn 4th Secondary School and later graduated from the Estonian SSR State Art Institute in ceramics in 1959. Semper is known for designing labels for beverages, including lemonade brands such as Kelluke and Soodeks. She has also participated in exhibitions as an artist.
