Viktor Anatolyevich Chjen (May 10, 1945 – October 13, 2020) was a Soviet, Uzbek, and Russian economist, poet, and public figure. He authored over 200 books and scholarly works. Chjen served as the Minister of Industry of the Uzbek SSR from 1990 to 1994, then led the State Committee for Property Management and Entrepreneurial Support in 1995, and acted as Deputy Prime Minister until 2000. He was also an advisor to the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan. His contributions extend to literature and economics, underscoring his diverse expertise.
