Viktor Alekseyovich Ekimovsky (September 12, 1947 – January 6, 2024) was a Soviet and Russian composer, musicologist, and public figure in music. He served as the secretary of the Union of Composers of Russia and was a member of the Moscow Composers' Union. He led the Association of Contemporary Music from 1996 and organized various conferences and festivals. Known for his innovative spirit, Ekimovsky was one of the most performed contemporary composers, with a significant reputation in both Russian and international music circles.
