Viktor Andreyevich Gnevko (December 30, 1946 – February 27, 2018) was a Soviet and Russian scientist in economics, holding a doctoral degree and a professorship. He was an honorary worker of higher professional education in Russia and a distinguished figure in science, recognized as a full member of the European Academy of Sciences and an academician of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences. Gnevko founded the Saint Petersburg State University of Technology and Management in 1990 and focused his research on the innovative development of regional economies in Russia.
